A not-for -profit organisation that promotes and enables folk arts activities in South Devon

I set up this organisation in 2000 to encourage participation in folk related activities. We have run several projects in folk music and dance for children and adults.

Good News! (22/9/07) Action Folk have been successful in it's application for funding. An award of £2150 means planned workshops can get started and hopefully continue long into the future with your support.

Devon Folk Workshops

I have a pool of 10 accordions available for workshop at festivals etc.  email for details

East European Folk Workshops

East European and klezmer folk session every third Thursday at the Barrel House Totnes,continues  into 2012.  Bring an instrument to join in or just come along to savour the atmosphere in a unique venue.  Admission free starts 8pm.
